The third command is do not use Gods name in vane. For how important this command is. There’s a lot of people using Gods name in vane. Have you ever wondered why Gods name is capitalized? It’s because God is holy so if God is so important why is his name used in a bad way so often. It’s because people just don’t care anymore. People think it’s funny to use Gods name in vane. For an example in movies it seems like every movie has bad language in it in some way. Even kids movies seem like they have rude or bad language in movies. The bad thing about that is those kids are learning bad habits. That’s why kids are always just spamming bad language left and right. Another thing is using Gods name in vane is mocking him. People a lot of the time are saying o my before the given bad word. When they use bad language they are murdering God. They do this because they’re not only murdering God they want to murder God. In fact many people love to murder God. They love to murder God because they hate him. So you better look at your life and see if you’ve been using Gods name in vane.

Chapter 3 do not make an idol for yourself.

Now that we know what worshipping a god is we need to know about making in idol. In exodus verses four and five God says do not make an idol for yourself. Whether in the shape of anything in the heavens above the earth or the waters under the earth. Verse five do not bow in worship to them. And do not serve them for i the lord am a jealous God. Bringing the the consequences of the father’s iniquity. On the children from the third and first generation of those who hate me. We need to start by why do create and worship these gods. What happens is we want to see and touch God and we want something to worship. Also people often forget God and worship the creation. God’s creation is beautiful but God created it after all what is this world with out God.

Chapter 2 you shall have no other gods before me.

Do you believe any gods even some of the best Christian’s believe in Gods. For God is a jealous god and he says on to those who believe their own gods shall be punished. Once you start worshipping an other god you can’t stop. And whatever thing you are worshipping is the center of your life. Then you start to forget God and fall in love with that god. Another thing that can happen is you become bored are tired of God and you just don’t care about God. If you just keep doing this your make yourself a god. Even if you obey this command you could be doing it wrong. Look do not have any gods before me doesn’t mean make God the the greatest God of all time. It means God first also you can’t worship God and an idol. To god your idols are stupid and worthless and god will smash them to pieces. So you need to stop worshipping theses idiots and worship the one true God.

Chapter 1 what are the Ten Commandments.

Do you know what the Ten Commandments are? We nee to start on what is the theology of the Ten Commandments. We can start with how God revels himself in the Ten Commandments. God reviles his voice in the Ten Commandments. He’s speaking loud because he wants to make sure we know them. And not just know them know them well. He doesn’t want us just to briefly know the Ten Commandments he wants us to know the Ten Commandments well. Also the Ten Commandments aren’t laws they’re things we need to know. The Ten Commandments are things we apply to our life. They help us know good and wrong.

chapter 11 what is the church.

Do you know what the church is. Many of us overlook and don’t care about what the church is. Have you ever realized that the church is the people not a building. We should not even think once about the building we are to think about the people. Think about what the church would be like without the people. If the church was just a building there wouldn’t be a church. For we shouldn’t care about the building we should care about the well being of the people. The people is the building there the ones holding it up. So the people is the church’s strength the people is the walls holding it up on its feet. The church would be a junk yard without the people the church would just collapse to the floor. For the people is the pillars of the church and the walls of the church.

chapter 10 worship.

do you worship Evan a lot of vary experienced Christians don’t know what worship means. Let’s start by asking ourselves do you know what worship is. Many of us worship on Sunday morning and think worship is just singing. Worship can be many different things like Evan reading your Bible is worshiping. Worship is anything that’s glorifying God. We don’t only need to know what worship is. We need to know how to use worship. We can use worship many different ways. We can use worship by sharing the gospel with others. We can use worship to make other peoples lives better. When we sing there might be someone in the church that doesn’t feel like singing but as soon as she’s you she’s motivated to sing. We also need to know how to worship. It means we need to know how we can use are worship. And it also means to worship in front of other people. I don’t care if your scared to sing are embarrassed to sing you must do it.

Chapter 9 praying.

Many people overlook praying and say a prayers a prayer. We should not be like that we need to know what praying is. In Matthew Jesus is in the garden alone praying before he gets crucified. He’s praying and he’s not happy and it’s not because he’s about to get crucified. It’s because praying is not peaceful. When we pray we should be sad God made it that way. He made it that way so we could feel sorry for people who are dealing with losses or dying.

Chapter 8 how we should glorify and reflect God.

We need to know how to reflect and glorify God. There’s many references in the Bible about reflecting and glorifying God. The book I’m going to go from is Genesis. In Genesis 2 after God creates Adam and Eve. He says that they will glorify and reflect my own image. Reflecting God in his own image means to be like him. The problem is we’re messy people. We would never Evan come close being like God. God doesn’t want us to be picture perfect people. He wants us to be what God wants us to be. God wants us to listen to him and try our best. God also wants us to glorify him in every thing we do. God wants us to glorify him in every thing you can think of. We should glorify him as we work sleep in every and in every thing you can think of.

Biblical preaching is something that not even the best Christians understand. Look there’s pastors who are good and pastors who are bad. You may have noticed there’s no amazing are perfect pastor. That’s because God doesn’t want you to be a perfect pastor. He wants you to be a truthful pastor. He doesn’t want you to preach the best best sermon of all time. He wants you to preach what the church needs to hear.

Chapter 6 God is your shepherd and your breaker.

Life is hard but do not fear. God is your shepherd. God will be right there with you. You have nothing to fear because God’s with you. Knowing God is by your side gives you confidence. God’s there even in the darkest of times. Also God is your breaker God breaks through your sin. He breaks you out of the flames no matter how big your sin is. He saves you out of flames no matter how big. Our flames our saved by the love and peace of Jesus Christ.
