Chapter 3 don’t doubt, James 1:6 part 1.

James 1:6 says, but let him ask in faith without doubting. For the doubter is like the surcharge sea, driven and tossed by wind. In this chapter I’m going to cover the first half of James 1:6. I have three reasons on why we should not doubt God. First God hears and knows you. When you pray or go through a hard season God not only knows you but he hears you. He hears your cry’s, he hears every word you say. God is the alpha and the omega he’s all knowing. There is not a second where God is not God therefore he hears and knows you. He hears your prayers and cries. God knows and hears you. Not only does God know and hear but secondly he loves and cares for you. Through your hard seasons God loves and cares for you. Even when it doesn’t seem like it God loves and cares for you. He has cared for you from the day you were born and will continue to until the day you die. Lastly your loose faith. If you turn to Matthew 14:28-31 there’s this sequence where Jesus and peter are walking on water and peters doing great but he gets frightened by the wind and starts to sink into the water. God says why did you doubt me. Don’t be like peter but be faithful.
