Revelation

Revelation 2 8-11 says write to the angel of the church in Smyrna: thus says the first and last, the one who was dead and came to life: I know your affliction and poverty, but you are rich. I know the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. Don’t be afraid of what you are about to suffer. Look the devil is about to throw some of you in prison to test you, and you will experience affliction for ten days be faithful unto death and i will give you the crown of life. Let anyone who has ears to hear listen to what the spirit says to the churches. The one who conquers will never be harmed by the second death. For this set of scripture i have three things first Jesus always reigns in fact he even reigns better in dark times. Have you ever been in a dark room at night asleep and somebody turns on a bright light, but a light shines in the light if a bright light turns on when the light is on you can’t see it. See in the dark You can see his glory in the light you dont see him as well because since you’ve been going through good times you dont see what God can do. Also remember Jesus reigns when your suffering in your darkest times times when you have no idea what Gods doing you have to persevere and cling to Jesus. Second Jesus has a purpose for your suffering God isn’t making you suffer so he can see you suffer he’s making you suffer to teach you something. Have you ever maybe whenever you were a kid get a spanking as punishment for doing something wrong that’s kind of what Gods doing. Third your suffering could be a rebuke this is a time when you need to check your faith. Think of a shepherd and one of his sheep keeps running away and he can’t get it to listen eventually he breaks the sheep’s leg thats what God dose to us are running from Jesus if you are he will come break your leg. We need to wake up we’re living in the last days and if you go up on judgement day and you don’t go to heaven because you kept running from God dont blame but yourself.
